A day in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What’s one of the great joys about living in Southern Utah? All of the day trip possibilities including…Vegas, Baby! We decided to take a Sunday off of everything and book it to Vegas for a day filled with walking around the strip, gambling, and window shopping. Even if you’re not into drinking and gambling you can still make a very eventful and memorable trip to Las Vegas!  Although we did actually gamble and let’s just say I’m not the best gambler and will waste large amounts of money. Oops!

Caesars Palace is one of my favorite places on the strip and one of the main reasons is The Forum Shops and the fountain show inside! So we obviously had to stay and watch the fountain show while drinking alcoholic slushies. Caesers Palace is not only filled with great shops that will make you broke from one transaction but also beautiful and elegant art galleriees! Martin Lawrence Galleries is by far my favorite. There was a great variety of work and you can’t say “no” when it comes to Picasso and Warhol…you just can’t!

Obviously in Vegas you have to eat all of the best food you can. The foodie in me gets all sorts of excited when it comes to meals in Vegas. I’m already planning my next meals. It’s a problem, really. (CHUB LIFE, YO) We had dinner at Gordan Ramsay’s Burger place in Planet Hollywood and it was amazing! Absolutely the best burger I’ve had and I’m still dreaming of the truffle fries.

My phone and camera died half way through the day so I did not snap as many photos as I wish I could’ve but that’s just another excuse to go back soon. *wink* I think I am going to take advantage of Vegas being so close to me more this time then I ever did in the past.

All photos were taken on my iPhone 6 or Canon G7X and edited with the 1967 app.

Stay Sunny!
